Synopsis
In highly populated areas around Golaghat in Assam, people and elephants are pushed to the limits alike.
When the paddy starts ripening, young people start chasing elephants. Consequently, tragedies are inevitable.
Together with an organisation of effected farmers, a young couple worked on solutions to this problem by re-establishing fodder habitats for elephants that directly adjoin the forest areas.
FAREP is a solution oriented investigational documentary film about human-elephant conflict.
