Synopsis
'Chautti Chautti' is a short biographical animated film about a father's childhood memory of running away from home on a bicycle as narrated to his daughter. It depicts his rebellious journey across Kerala, from Ernakulam to Trivandrum. The film combines paper cut-out puppets, stop motion and drawing with a voice-over in Malayalam. In all, it comprises over 3000 frames, each painstakingly created by hand, and composited digitally.
