Synopsis

This feature documentary captures the visual ethnography of the indigenous food culture and ways of life of the Mullukurumans, a Scheduled Tribal community who inhabit the district of Wayanad. Food cooked by the Mullukurumans is not just for subsistence but it is also linked to life cycle rituals such as pregnancy, childbirth, marriage, and death.
