Synopsis
The film is an observational journey into the work of a community of laborers in the making of a larger-than-life mass-festival, that is “Durga Puja” in Kolkata and reveals the relationship between body and mind by tracing their occasional life in the city. Through understanding the role and position of this community, the film reflects on the ethos of the working class behind the success of the festival and probes the traditional Bengali cultural practices in the backdrop of corporate makeover.
