Synopsis
Shéhrazade, a sex-worker, is reclaiming her body and mind against trauma. The lens of this film maps her experience of love and intimacy - while on the job, and at home - and witness her healing. There will be a play with form as Amelle animates an inner world that the camera cannot capture. In turn, the viewer's eye may become the client gazing beyond the window glass, or the sex worker returning this gaze. This work is an attempt to tilt the power dynamic between voyeur and object.
