Synopsis
A widowed mother and her 13-year-old daughter are moving to a new house with their rescued black stray puppy. The mother, haunted by superstition, blames the puppy for her husband’s death and insists on leaving it behind at the market. Her daughter refuses to let go of the dog she loves. Trapped between fear and loyalty, their struggle becomes a quiet, powerful story about love in a world torn apart by divisions of gender, caste, religion, and skin color.
