Synopsis
Set in the hills of rural Meghalaya, Ka Jingshemphang (The Knowing) follows Baia, a quiet woman facing her husband’s worsening illness in a village with little access to healthcare. When a mysterious young girl arrives offering help, Baia’s life begins to shift. As ancient knowledge resurfaces and village tensions rise, the film explores the collision of faith, tradition, and identity — an homage to the unseen, the unspoken, and the healing power of inherited stories.
