Bones and Bellies / जांग ऐंते लाई

Synopsis

After a failed attempt to escape, bonded migrant worker Renuka and her husband- Sunil wait for another season of sugarcane harvesting. As they wait for an escape, Renuka’s health deteriorates due to extensive manual labour. Now, She has to choose between her freedom of aspiration to become a mother and paying off the debt. Amidst these, Renuka forges friendship with Usha, a fellow worker. But, the friendship remains elusive.
