Synopsis
"Bikharti yaadein" follows stories of families who lost their homes in the demolition of Basti, surrounded by the rubble for remnants of their past. As they collect bricks, symbolic of their shattered memories, they realize that rebuilding their lives isn't as simple as piecing together the physical remnants. The film ends with a JCB excavator digging through the remains, indicating the finality of their loss and the need to move forward.
