Synopsis
Renowned South African pianist Nina Schumann prepares to perform Rachmaninoff’s "Piano Concerto No. 2" again, 30 years after her debut of the work. Now diagnosed with focal dystonia – an involuntary muscle-spasm disorder – and Parkinson's disease, she faces losing the technical skill that defined her. "Concerto" captures her resilience, blending present-day and archival footage.
