Synopsis

Journey into Sato Tadao follows a journey into the world of legendary Japanese film critic Sato Tadao, who devoted his life to Asian cinema through more than 150 published works. Inspired by his description of the Indian film Kummatty as a “treasure,” the director sets out to discover the film and the cinematic legacy that made it so precious to him.
