Synopsis
The 2024 Indian Parliamentary election in Shillong, representing the Khasi and Jaintia Hills, was a contest between the ruling National People’s Party and the new Voice of the People Party. The latter championed ‘clean’ politics and the interests of the jaidbynriew (the Khasi/Jaintia people).
