Synopsis

In the heart of New York City, amidst the global pandemic, Hector Jr., an aspiring artist, grapples with the uncertainties of his career and the complexities of his personal identity. Each day is filled with self-tapes and the unpredictability of life. This struggle takes a turn when he receives a call from his sister Lucia, inviting him to a Zoom meeting intended to unite the family during their father's critical battle with COVID-19 at Jefferson Hospital. The virtual gathering, meant to bring comfort, instead reopens old wounds, leaving Hector Jr. overwhelmed with regret for participating. His frustration spills over, affecting his relationship with his partner, propelling him into a night of introspection and confrontation with his past. However, an unexpected call later that night pushes him towards a path of reconciliation and a deeper understanding of his identity. A poignant narrative about family, resilience, and the quest for authenticity amidst tragedy, highlighting the importance of staying true to oneself even in the darkest times.
