Synopsis: Nodir Kul Nai features the inhabitants of the Chars- sandbanks of the river Brahmaputra. It explores their relationship with the river, their struggle for survival and the larger issues of migration and questions of identity that are constantly looming over them.

Director’s Bio: Parasher Baruah is a cinematographer from Dibrugarh, Assam. A graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), he has been involved with a number of feature films, both regional, Hindi and several documentaries. As a cinematographer he won much international acclaimed for the documentary titled Supermen of Malegaon. His Assamese feature film Dikchow Banat Pallax, was awarded the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration, at the 64th National Awards in 2017.
