Synopsis: ‘Jhum’ or Shifting cultivation is an age-old farming practice prevalent amongst the indigenous tribes of Northeast India. Jhum being an integral part of the Naga way of life, any effort to discourage Jhum has been more or less futile. In 2010, Longra a small yet progressive village of the Chang tribe, decided to walk a different path.   Longra is a visual exercise in the tracing of that path.
