Synopsis: Mayadweep chronicles the various circumstances that resulted in the institution of the iconic Bikaner Gang Canal in Rajasthan, India. It examines the legacy of aristocratic apathy and speaks of the suffering it yields, and the social upheaval that it results in.
Director’s Bio: Chandan Sen is a Mumbai-based Indian filmmaker, ad filmmaker and screenwriter. He is a scholar graduate in Mass Communication from Amity University, Noida, India and a Post Graduate (Associates Degree) in Filmmaking, Direction (Gold Medallist) from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, India and New York Film Academy, New York City, U.S.A. (Distance Learning).
